Research

My research speciality is in Geospatial Predictive Modeling, specifically the subfield of Archaeological Preditive Modeling, a subfield centered around predicting and understanding archaeological site locations.
I actively combine traditional archaeological theory with new data-oriented and statistical methodologies to gain insight in human migration, settlement, and collapse.
For my graduate thesis, I applied various AI/ML techniques and methodologies to the region of Mesoamerica to better understand its Pre-Columbian peoples and possibly locate their undiscovered archaeological sites within the political boundaries of Mexico.
